Plant more is a stylish café inside Shinjuku Lumine where you can enjoy delicious parfaits, sundaes, cakes as well as main dishes, mostly of them being vegan! Gluten-free options are available as well.
About plant more
Some of you might know Wired Bonbon, a café loved by all the vegans in Tokyo for their amazing vegan parfaits. Unfortunately the café closed almost a year ago, but since a few months you can enjoy them again at plant more which is inside the exact same store as Wired Bonbon was. The interrior and the style of the food has changed quite a bit, but all parfaits are still entirely vegan and there are more vegan main dish options than before.
About the food
While this is not an entirely vegan café, all soft serve is made from almond milk and entirely vegan, including all toppings. Some of their cakes are vegan too, as well as main dishes like lasagna, avocado toast and falafel sandwiches. A number of dishes is also gluten-free!
I am a little disappointed though by the smaller variety of parfaits compared to when the place was still Wired Bonbon. They had much fancier ones which were also a bit bigger if I remember correctly.

Dishes I tried so far
Falafel sandwich
The falafel sandwich had a good size and filled me up nicely. It came with a side of hummus and dipps which was quite nice! The falafel was crispy and flavourful, and the veggies in the sandwich were nice and fresh. The hummus inside the sandwich added another texture and even more flavor. All in all, this sandwich was perfect!
Lasagna
When I saw on their Instagram that they started to sell vegan lasagna, I had to try it! I think it was my first time having lasagna since I came to Japan. The lasagna was relatively big and came with a side of pita bread and hummus. A unconventional combination, but actually quite delicious!
The lasagna was juicy and the cheese on top had a similar taste and consistency to regular cheese which was sooo delicous! I loved it!
Avocado toast
The avocado toast was amaing as well! It was crispy walnut bread with creamy hummus, fresh avocado and spices. It came with a side of sweet maple sirup to pour on top.
Sundae with caramel sauce
The soft serve used for sundaes and parfaits at plant more is super creamy. I chose the caramel sundae which tasted absolutely heavenly! The soft serve was topped with a sweet and salty caramel sauce and there was crunchy granola on the bottom.
Seasonal parfait
I tried the seasonal parfait with pinapple in summer and it was delicous! It was also relatively big. I prefered the caramel sundae though!
Chocolate parfait with cherries
This parfait was perfect! It came with a rich chocolate cream on the bottom, topped with crunchy granola, sweet banana, cherries and soft serve.
